JAKARTA – The mastermind behind the murder of Vicky Firlana will soon be revealed. Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police AKP Yefta Ruben said that his party knew the identity of the mastermind behind the murder of a 22-year-old man at the Kober TPU, Ulujami, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 10.

"We have pocketed the initials of the main perpetrator, only because while the team in pursuit has not been able to convey it, we will provide further information later," Yefta told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Saturday, February 12.

Yefta also said that his team is currently pursuing the perpetrators. He hopes that the community will pray for him so that his team can immediately catch the mastermind behind the murder.

“Currently the team is still working on the field. The team is still in pursuit. Hopefully it can be revealed as soon as possible, "said Yefta.

For information, the police have arrested the perpetrator of the murder with the initials MYL. From the results of the examination, he acted as the executor. In addition, the police have also arrested the suspect DR.

From the initial investigation, DR acted as a liaison with the executor, MYL, who was arrested in the West Jakarta area.

“DR was arrested in West Jakarta. (DR) strangled the victim and then also served as a liaison to the brain of the perpetrator, who is still being chased," Yefta said.

Yephta explained that the motives of the perpetrators for the murder were due to economic demands. They were given a monetary reward.

“The motive for this perpetrator is economic. The initial interrogation received a monetary reward," Yefta told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Saturday, February 12.

However, when asked what the nominal amount was, Yefta admitted that his party was still investigating the perpetrators.

"In the meantime, we need further investigation. Later we will convey the complete information when we have caught the brain of the culprit. Because it requires conformity rather than specific recognition of the amount of money given," he said.
