The COVID-19 Storm Is Getting More Real, ICU And Bed Occupancy In West Jakarta Hospitals Continues To Increase

JAKARTA - The bed occupancy rate (BOR) at the referral hospital for COVID-19 patients in West Jakarta has increased in recent days. Of the 23 hospitals lined up as isolation places for positive COVID-19 patients, 731 beds have been filled.

"731 Isolation beds at 23 COVID-19 referral hospitals have been filled", said West Jakarta Health Sub-dept. Disease Prevention and Control Section Head, Arum Ambarsari, when confirmed in Jakarta, Friday, February 11.

In addition, 88 beds in the ICU room of each referral hospital have also been filled out of the 144 capacities provided.

Ambar said that residents who were treated at the hospital were patients with severe symptoms and had congenital diseases (comorbid). Meanwhile, patients without symptoms or OTG are recommended to undergo self-isolation at home.

In addition to isolation areas, Arum has also prepared hundreds of health workers specifically to serve COVID-19 patients in hospitals and centralized isolation areas.

Arum ensured that her party would provide maximum health services for patients being treated in hospitals or centralized isolation areas.
