Depok Becomes Level 3, Pay Attention To Procedures For Entering Malls, Markets And Children's Play Centers

JAKARTA - The City Government (Pemkot) of Depok, West Java, has imposed restrictions on residents' activities and operating hours for trading activities for trade centers, shopping centers and malls with a permit to operate until 21.00 WIB and a capacity of 60 percent.

"The restrictions were carried out following the implementation of level 3 restrictions on community activities (PPKM) in Depok City," said Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris in Depok, Friday, February 11.

In Depok Mayor Decree (Kepwal) Number 443/75/Kpts/Satgas/Huk/2022 regarding PPKM Level 3 COVID-19, it is also required to use the PeduliLindung application.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent and show proof of vaccination at least the first dose, quoted from Antara.

Children's playgrounds and other entertainment venues located in trade centers, shopping malls and malls can be opened with a capacity of 35 percent. And on condition of showing proof of complete vaccination for each child who enters.

Furthermore, supermarkets, hypermarkets, midimarkets, minimarkets, grocery stores and supermarkets that sell daily necessities are limited to operating hours until 21.00 WIB, with a capacity of 60 percent. Then, it is mandatory to use the PeduliLindung application.

Then the people's market that sells non-daily needs can operate with a capacity of 60 percent until 20.00 WIB.

Then, street vendors, grocery stores, agents or voucher outlets, barbershops, laundry, hawkers, small workshops, car washes, and others are allowed to open until 21.00 WIB with strict health protocols.

Regarding on-site eating and drinking activities, there are also restrictions imposed. Food stalls or warteg, street vendors and similar hawker stalls are allowed to operate until 21.00 WIB with a capacity of 60 percent.

Likewise with restaurants or restaurants and cafes located in shopping centers or malls with a maximum meal time of 60 minutes.

Meanwhile, restaurants or restaurants and cafes that open at night can operate from 18.00 to 00.00 WIB.

However, with a maximum capacity of 25 percent and implementing strict health protocols, the maximum meal time is 60 minutes.

For cinemas, it is mandatory to use the PeduliLindung application to screen visitors and employees.

Allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent and can show proof of the first dose of vaccination.

Restaurants or restaurants and cafes in the cinema area are allowed to accept meals on the premises with a capacity of 50 percent and a maximum meal time of 60 minutes.

All managers and visitors are asked to follow the health protocols regulated by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile pharmacies and drug stores can operate 24 hours a day.
