JAKARTA - A total of seven people consisting of leaders and staff of the Central Information Commission (KI Pusat) have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 2 (two) weeks. As a result, Central KI decided to work from home (WFH).

Deputy Chairman of the Central KI Hendra J Kede said, all those who were positive for COVID-19 did not show severe symptoms, so they underwent independent isolation at their respective homes.

"Currently, some have been declared negative, and some are still positive for COVID-19," he said in a written statement in Jakarta, Friday, February 11.

Services are temporarily carried out through possible electronic means. So far, the Central KI COVID-19 Task Force has taken the necessary actions and is constantly coordinating with related parties, especially the COVID-19 Task Force.

"Searching the track record of direct contact is immediately carried out as soon as someone is tested positive for COVID-19. Health protocols are always implemented strictly within the Central KI environment," said Hendra.

The entire room has also been sprayed with disinfectant for the process of sterilizing the room from the possibility of being contaminated with the COVID-19 virus.

"Hopefully COVID-19 will soon pass from the motherland," said Hendra.
