There Is No Food Aid From The Mayor Of South Tangerang, Davnie: They Already Know How To Do It

TANGSEL - Mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel), Benyamin Davnie admitted that there had been a spike in COVID-19 in his area. It is recorded that on average it is dominated by family clusters that start from the crowd.

“The clusters of crowds and family clusters that we report the most are from crowds,” Davnie said, Wednesday, February 9.

Davnie said that since January 2022 there have been 12 thousand cases of COVID-19 with 1,500 daily cases in the last 4 days.

This has resulted in a number of regulations being enacted to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

"Our total cases from early January to today are approximately 12,000 with daily cases of approximately 1,500 in the last 4 days," he said.

"Regulations, tightening, for example, restaurants are 50 percent until 21.00 then cinemas are like that," he continued.

Davnie admitted that his party had not prepared food assistance for residents who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 who were self-isolating (Isoman).

He only asked residents who are currently self-isolating to manage their food needs while confining themselves at home.

"Not yet," said Davnie to reporters at the Tangerang City Government Center, Tuesday, February 8.

According to Davnie, the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been going on for almost two years, has made people in South Tangerang able to live isoman well.

"Now they have self-isolation, because it's been 2 years. So they already know how to self-isolate, I don't think it's too much like last year's period," he said.
