JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo issued Circular Letter (SE) Number 04 of 2022 concerning the Utilization of the Education and Training Center Building for Government Agencies as a Centered Isolation Facility for COVID-19 Patients.

In the SE, Tjahjo said this was done because it was necessary to increase the number of special health facilities as a means of isolating patients in accordance with health standards and under direct monitoring by health workers.

"The provision of special health facilities is in the form of centralized isolation services (isoter) through the use of central buildings or educational and training institutions owned and managed by government agencies," Tjahjo said in a statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday.

In addition, he said, the purpose of using the training building as an isoter place, among others, is to ensure the prevention and control of the spread of COVID-19 for state civil servants (ASN) within government agencies and the community in general.

"To provide health protection through isoter facilities that can be used for ASN employees and/or their families infected with COVID-19," he added.

The provision of the central building or training institution for the isoters is carried out in accordance with the standards for implementing COVID-19 patient isolation set by the Minister of Health. Then, the provision of isoter facilities is carried out in coordination with hospitals or community health centers and the local government.

"During the implementation of isoter facilities, the implementation of education and training programs by government agencies is temporarily switched to online and/or carried out in offices or other locations with the implementation of strict health protocols," said Tjahjo.

The Circular is valid until further evaluation results, in accordance with the development status of the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia.
