PURWOREJO – A total of 250 joint officers from the TNI, Polri and Satpol PP secured the land measurement process carried out by the Regional Head of the National Land Agency, in Wadas Village, Purworejo Regency. Iqbal explained that the Central Java Police Chief on the basis of the application letter coordinated with relevant stakeholders to support the implementation of land measurement by the BPN team. The land area to be acquired currently covers 124 hectares.

Iqbal again explained, regarding the existence of residents who refused to build the Wadas dam, his party was ready to accommodate the aspirations of the residents.

Iqbal also added that the problems of a number of residents who rejected the Wadas development project had been mediated by Forkompinda Central Java since 2018. Residents who refused had filed a lawsuit to the Semarang Administrative Court, but were rejected.

The Head of Public Relations invited residents to express their opinions regarding the Wadas Dam project to the Purworejo Police.
