BANDUNG - Bandung Police suspect that the murder of a teacher with the initials AR (50) who was found dead in the courtyard of SD Tilil 032, Bandung City, West Java, was planned by the perpetrators.

Coblong police chief Kompol Nanang said the victim AR was stabbed by her ex-husband named Nano Mujianto (56) using a knife. According to Nanang, Nano had waited for the victim at the elementary school gate before carrying out his heinous act.

"Based on the facts, this strong suspicion was indeed planned," said Nanang at the Bandung Police, Bandung City, West Java, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, February 8.

Even so, the police are still looking for clues to the origin of the knife used by the perpetrator when he killed his ex-wife. The perpetrator himself claimed to have found the knife from the location.

"We are still investigating, where did this knife come from, what is clear is that it was with him and was brought by the person concerned," said Nanang.

As for the stabbing, said Nanang, the victim suffered deep injuries. According to him, the victim's stab wound was nine centimeters deep.

"The puncture was in the stomach, nine centimeters close to the heart and intestines," he said.

The motive for the murder, he said, was allegedly because the perpetrator wanted to reconcile with the victim after being separated since 2007, but received a refusal from the victim.

Now Nano has been detained at the Bandung Police Detention Center to account for his actions. Nano himself, said Nanang, is a worker in the private sector.

"The perpetrator and the victim have two grown children. One is married and the other is about to get married," said Nanang.
