Restaurant Visitors To Cinemas In PPKM Level 1 Areas Now Allowed 100 Percent Capacity

JAKARTA - The government has relaxed the capacity of visitors in a number of places in areas that have implemented Level 1 restrictions on community activities (PPKM) from 8 to 14 February 2022.

This is stated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 09 of 2022 concerning PPKM Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 COVID-19 in the Java and Bali Region issued by Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.

In PPKM Level 1 which is implemented over the next week, a number of places such as malls, supermarkets, people's markets, warteg, hawker stalls, restaurants, and cinemas may operate by maximizing visitor capacity up to 100 percent.

During the previous implementation of PPKM Level 1, food businesses and cinemas were still limited in their capacity to 75 percent of visitors. Meanwhile, people's markets, supermarkets and malls have been allowed 100 percent of visitor capacity.

Although 100 percent capacity is now allowed, if the restaurant, restaurant or cafe operates at night from 18:00 to 00:00, it is mandatory to limit the visitor capacity to a maximum of 75 percent.

Then, every place must use the PeduliLindung application to screen all visitors and employees and only visitors with the green category in the PeduliLindung application may enter unless they cannot be vaccinated for health reasons.

Furthermore, there are other adjustments in regions that apply PPKM Level 1, namely the arrangement of work shifts in export supporting industries, namely a maximum of 100 percent of staff per shift in production facilities/factories and 75 percent for administrative services. Meanwhile, there is still a maximum capacity limitation for places of art, culture, sports and social activities, places of worship, and public facilities, which is a maximum of 75 percent.

The areas in Java and Bali that apply PPKM Level 1 are Sukabumi Regency, Pangandaran Regency, Banjar City, Cianjur Regency, Temanggung Regency, Kudus Regency, Semarang City, Salatiga City, Kendal Regency, Semarang Regency, Jepara Regency, Grobogan Regency, Blora Regency , Batang Regency, Demak Regency.

Then Trenggalek Regency, Ponorogo Regency, Pacitan Regency, Ngawi Regency, Magetan Regency, Madiun Regency, Probolinggo City, Blitar City, Kediri Regency, Blitar Regency, Tuban Regency, Sumenep Regency, Probolinggo Regency, Pasuruan Regency, and Bojonegoro Regency.
