JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan attended the inauguration of the Alumni Corps of the Jaya Islamic Student Association (KAHMI) for the 2022-2027 period. Anies as Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Board of KAHMI Jaya, is prayed for as president.
This was stated by the Deputy Chair of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Mohamad Taufik who also serves as the General Chair of KAHMI Jaya.

Taufik said KAHMI is an organization related to politics. Therefore, Taufik considers it natural for KAHMI to voice its support for political figures.
"KAHMI always has something to do with politics. Because if it doesn't have anything to do with it, it's not HMI. Therefore, don't hesitate to encourage anyone to become a leader in the future," said Taufik.
Taufik also mentioned another name that he considered a leader. The names mentioned are Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria and former Mayor of South Tangerang, Airin Rachmi Diany.
"There is Pak Ariza, our leader is also the future. Mrs. Airin is what I always convey as a candidate for Governor of DKI," he said.
It was Anies' turn to give a speech. He said that KAHMI is a forum where student leaders are trained with experience and are able to maintain unity.
"The one who is the best at maintaining this unity is KAHMI because KAHMI has the ability in leadership, in the organization, to be able to maintain the threshold of difference that cannot exceed a certain point," explained Anies.
It is known that DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria as the Coordinator of the KAHMI Presidium will inaugurate the KAHMI Jaya regional assembly for the 2022-2027 period with the elected General Chair being Mohamad Taufik.
In addition to the inauguration of the regional assemblies, the event continued with the awarding of the KAHMI Jaya 2022 award to 7 figures who were judged to have excelled based on two categories, namely Government Management and HMI Jakarta Alumni who excel as Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
