Metro Police Checks Cafe Manager About Prokes Violation, One Person Escapes

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Narcotics Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police investigated three cafe and nightclub managers who violated health protocols (prokes). The three are, ODIN Bar, Dronk, and Code in W Home.

"Yes (the manager, ed) yesterday was investigated," said Director of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Mukti Juharsa to reporters, Friday, February 4.

However, only the managers from ODIN Bar and Dronk were checked. Because the manager of Code in W Home is called on the run.

"So the manager of ODIN Bar is only checking the manager and his staff," said Mukti.

"If the ones in Code in W Home are only employees because the manager has run away. If the Dronk manager is not there, then the employee will be investigated," continued Mukti.

But Mukti has not detailed the results of the examination. It was confirmed that this case will continue to be investigated.

"We are still investigating the documents," said Mukti.

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Narcotics Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya also sealed three bars for operating beyond the operational hour limits in accordance with the policy for the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) on Thursday morning.

"Three cafes, namely Odin on Jalan Senopati, CODE in W Home Senopati and Dronk on Jalan Kemang Raya. We sealed and installed police lines," said Mukti.

Mukti explained that officers visited Odin's bar at 00.20 WIB, CODE in W Home Senopati at 01.05 WIB and Dronk at 01.50 WIB and when they checked, it was found that there were still many visitors and violations of operating hours.

In addition to sealing the three bars, the police team also conducted random mass swab tests on employees and visitors at three locations.

As a result, it was found that one visitor at the CODE in W Home Bar Senopati was reactive to COVID-19.

"One person who was reactive for COVID-19 was then directed to isolation," said Mukti.
