JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office has temporarily suspended all public activities and services. The reason is that there are 19 Jakarta Attorney General's Office employees who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"In connection with the large number of employees of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office who have been positively exposed to COVID-19, the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, Friday, February 4, 2022, has temporarily stopped all public activities and services, except for public services that are urgent and unavoidable," he said. Head of the Criminal Investigation Section of the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office, Ashari Syam, Friday, February 4, reported by Antara.

The DKI High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) immediately re-sprayed disinfectant liquid in all office rooms as a follow-up to the findings of the positive COVID-19 case.

Ashari said that public activities and services at the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor's Office were re-opened on Monday (7/1). "That's right," said Ashari.

The closure of face-to-face services at the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office adds to the list of government offices closed for public services due to the findings of COVID-19 cases.

Previously, the Bangka Village had also eliminated face-to-face services after three employees were confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"It will be closed starting today and Friday, then on Monday (7/2) we will use the Bangka Urban Village Office again," said the Village Head of Bangka, Firdaus Aulawy R in Jakarta, Thursday (3/2).

A similar policy was also carried out by the Cipete Utara Village, Kebayoran Baru District, which temporarily closed face-to-face services for the local community after one State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and four other employees were confirmed positive for COVID-19.
