Angry Woman Says COVID-19 Even Though Not Tested Yet, Bumame Pharmacy: Admin Sends Results Of Patients With Exact Names

JAKARTA - Bumame Pharmacy spoke about the accusation of publishing the results of the COVID-19 test in a video that was widely circulated. President Director of Bumame Pharmacy, James Wihardja, said that there had been an error in sending the results of a test conducted to an admin.

There is also a woman who is angry because the results of the COVID-19 test have come out even though she has not been examined and is called Zakiah. For this incident, Bumame apologizes for causing harm and inconvenience.

"We admit that what happened to Mrs. (Zakiah, ed) today was indeed an error on the part of the admin which caused losses and inconvenience," James said as quoted from his written statement, Thursday, February 3.

James said the admin sent test results from another patient to Zakiah. However, these results did not belong to Zakiah, who was furious because she had tested positive for COVID-19 even though she had not been tested.

"The admin sent the results of another patient who has the same exact name as the mother whose test results on February 2 were positive for antigen and also PCR," he said.

After this incident, Bumame Pharmacy then gave a stern warning to the admin. James also made sure that this kind of incident would not happen again.

He emphasized that this incident will be an evaluation for Bumame Pharmacy so that it does not happen again.

"We have followed up on this incident by giving a strong warning to the relevant staff. I will make sure this incident will not happen again at any Bumame branch and take this as an evaluation," said James.

As previously reported, a video of a woman running amok after receiving the results of an antigen and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test circulated. This woman was angry because she had not been tested but had positive results for COVID-19 issued by Bumame Pharmacy.

"Yesterday I was sent while I haven't been here yet, the results of the antigen test were sent. The PCR results were sent. Meanwhile, I haven't arrived yet. That's why, it's strange, I haven't come yet, but the results have been sent," said the woman in the video to an officer in blue. with Bumame's article quoted on Thursday, February 3.

This woman said that the two results of the antigen and PCR tests issued by Bumame were positive and this was detrimental to her.

"Both of them are positive again and this is detrimental. I want to fly to Bali again tomorrow. How about this, I can't because you have issued false test results," he said.

The officer who served the woman also seemed to read the two test results certificates. "I contacted until I sent a message to your website, there was no answer from you at all," he said.

"I made an appointment today," added the woman.

Not only that, the second part of the video with a duration of approximately 1 minute also appeared. Different from before, a male officer in the same uniform with the word Bumame admitted that an error had occurred.
