JAKARTA - Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa asked the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to oversee the construction of the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago. The goal is to prevent corrupt practices from occurring.

"So we will be careful so that the regulated procedures do not open up opportunities for corruption to occur," added Suharso.

Responding to this request, KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri said his party was certainly called and ready to take on a role.

"We are also called to follow developments regarding the national capital development plan," said Firli on the same occasion.

"And of course we hope that there is a role for the community, so the KPK will open public services in the form of the Jaga IKN application so that the entire community will play a major role in prevention and eradication," said Firli.
