Ministry Of Health Announces COVID-19 Update As Of January 30, There Are 12,422 Positive Cases

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. Of the 314,397 specimens examined, 12,422 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were found.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,343,185 and active cases have increased by 9,163 cases to 61,718 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Sunday, January 30.

Today's recovered cases increased by 3,241 cases, bringing the total to 4,137,164 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 18 people, bringing the total to 144,303 people.

The province with the most new cases was in Jakarta with 6,613 cases. With this addition, the total is 908,084 cases.

Followed by West Java with 2,584 new cases. This brings a total of 724,771 cases. Furthermore, Banten Province with 1,740 new cases with a total of 144,431 cases.

Meanwhile, the province with the most recovered cases today is in Jakarta with an increase of 2,008 cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 535 recovered cases.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health also noted that the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 71,637,728.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 6.04 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 7,598 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 184,557,715 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 128,005,763 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 4.204640. Meanwhile, the target for COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
