JAKARTA - Thirteen people died when the van they were traveling in rolled over and plunged into a ditch on a Central Mexico highway.
The incident also left 10 other people injured, officials said.
Seven of those who died were initially trapped in the car, the emergency services agency of the state of Jalisco said on Twitter.
The accident occurred on the highway linking the states of Guanajuato and Jalisco, near the city of Lagos de Moreno.
