MANADO - North Sulawesi's Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 noted that new cases of COVID-19 infecting residents began to rise in the past four days. "On the next date, it rose to 10 new cases, 11 new cases, and today as many as 21 new cases," he said in Manado, Friday 28 January night. He explained that as many as 21 new cases, nine people came from Manado City, five people from outside the area, and four from Minahasa Regency.

Furthermore, Bitung City, North Minahasa Regency, North Minahasa Regency and Bolaang Mongondow Regency, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency each had one person. Meanwhile, cases recovered reached 33,669 people or 96.70 percent after adding five people from North Minahasa Regency and Two people each from Tomohon City, and one person from Minahasa Regency.
