JAKARTA - Investigators of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office summoned two retired TNI soldiers to be examined as witnesses in the alleged corruption case of the Ministry of Defense Satellite Project (Kemhan).

Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah said the examination was in coordination with the Deputy Attorney General for Military Crimes (Jampidmil).

"So maybe there were coordination steps, maybe for the preparation of examinations, both active and retired," said Febrie, quoted by Antara.

According to Febrie, his party will aim to carry out the next exposure in which it is decided that civilians will be investigated by the Special Investigations Unit, while the military will involve Puspom.

"So for the examination, the previous coordination steps were indeed in the Pidmil. So maybe there were coordination steps to prepare for the examination of both active and retired (military, ed.)," said Febrie.

Jampidsus Director of Investigation Supardi said the inspection schedule listed on the monitor was in coordination with Jampidmil.

"It's not finished (checked, ed), it's just a plan, meaning we first coordinate with Jampidmil," Supardi said.

Supardi admits that an error occurred, the schedule for the examination should have been submitted to Jampidmil, but it was already listed on the monitoring schedule for the investigation at the Round Building.

"It's wrong, it's wrong, it hasn't reached the person yet," said Supardi.

Meanwhile, today, Thursday, January 27, investigators examined two witnesses related to the alleged corruption case of the 123 degree East Longitude (BT) Slot Orbit Satellite Project by the Ministry of Defense. The two witnesses were Nurman Setiawan as the Asdir Director of the 2015-2016 Defense and Security Business Development Section, and the second witness Maisyaf as the Manager of Management and Project Engineering Witness of PT LEN 2015.
