Container Truck Collision Showroom In Kledung Temanggung, Driver Minor Wounds, 12 Wrecked Motorcycles

TEMANGGUNG - A container truck with the police number H-9397-QA loaded with wood crashed into two buildings belonging to residents in Paponan Village, Kledung, Temanggung Regency, Central Java.

The Head of Traffic at the Temanggung Police, AKP Komang Kharisma, said the container truck driven by Purnomo, a resident of Demak Regency, destroyed two buildings that housed rice mills and a motorcycle showroom.

"There were no casualties in this incident," he said in Temanggung as reported by Antara, Thursday, January 27.

The truck driver suffered minor injuries with minor cuts to the head and showroom guard Chaerul Anam also suffered minor injuries. As a result of this incident, as many as 12 units of motorbikes in the showroom were damaged because they were crushed by the container body.

Komang said that the truck was traveling from Wonosobo to Temanggung at a moderate speed. Purnomo admitted that he did not control the road. "Because they did not control the terrain, on the downhill road the driver lost control and crashed into a resident's house," he said.

The Traffic Head urged people who pass the Kledung route to always increase their vigilance because accidents often occur on this road.

"The terrain in the Kledung area has many bends, descents or climbs, and narrow lanes so that it is prone to accidents. If the driver does not control the terrain, an accident like this incident could occur," he said.
