JAKARTA - The investigation team from the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit has completed the investigation of the former head of the South Grogol Village, Asep Subah, on the Djoko Tjandra road letter case. During the examination, the investigator explores four things related to the case.

Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the National Police's Public Relations Division, said that Asep's examination lasted 5 hours. Investigators asked 22 questions.

"(The first point of examination) The process of introducing the village head to Anita and Djoko Tjandra," said Awi in his statement, Tuesday, August 18.

Investigators also explored the matters discussed at the meeting of Asep Subah with Anita Kolopaking and Djoko Tjandra in Grogol Selatan Village. Including, the process of making a domicile certificate and the process of making Djoko Tjandra's Electronic Identity Card (KTP) (e-KTP).

"(Lastly) it was related to Djoko Tjandra's arrival in recording the e-KTP at the head of the South Grogol Urban Village," said Awi.

Asep Subah's involvement began when he met Anita Kolopaking. The meeting discussed the matter of making Djoko Tjandra's e-KTP as a requirement to apply for a judicial review (PK) at the South Jakarta District Court.

Asep then ordered one of the Satpel operators for Population and Civil Registration of Grogol Village to check Djoko Tjandra's data.

On June 8, Asep received and delivered the applicant himself to do the recording. There Asep immediately asked for Djoko Tjandra's e-KTP issuance service by only showing Djoko Tjandra's KTP and Family Card (KK) from inside Asep's cellphone in the form of a photo.

Meanwhile, in the road certificate case, the police have named three people as suspects. They are Anita Kolopaking, Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo and Djoko Tjandra.
