Putting Off The Preparations For The Continuation Of League 1 And League 2, PT LIB Asks For PSSI Direction
JAKARTA - League 1 and League 2 competitions will be held in October. A number of preparations are being made. PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) as the operator also coordinates with a number of stakeholders, especially PSSI.
On Thursday 9th July afternoon, PT LIB again held a meeting with PSSI. This meeting was to discuss all the preparations needed to continue the competition which was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting from the scheduling system, the pre-competition workshop plan that all League 1 and League 2 clubs will participate in, to the determination of the match venue.
The operational director of PT LIB, Sudjarno, revealed that this meeting did not only inform what has been and will be done by PT LIB. This coordination also aims to get input and suggestions from PSSI.
"In essence, there will be a common perception between us and PSSI regarding the rolling of Liga 1 and League 2 2020,"

On this occasion, PSSI Chairman Mochamad Iriawan said, there are several things that need to be considered carefully to restart the competition. In fact, there is a crucial aspect that must be the focus of PT LIB as the competition operator, namely the health aspect that must really be considered.
"Everyone must follow existing protocols. However, at this time the situation is not normal. Everything must be anticipated in detail and wisely," said the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule.
Coordination between PT LIB and PSSI will continue until the competition starts again. PSSI Acting Officer (Plt) Secretary General, Yunus Nusi stated, the coordination between PT LIB and PSSI is very decisive because there are many aspects that must be considered and prepared. For that, the coordination that must be done is not enough.
"After this there will be further coordination so that (preparation) is more mature and maximal," he explained.
