Yuke Sampurna Reveals Riders Loh How Come The Band's Tum Is Different From Dewa 19

JAKARTA - Loh Kok Tum Band, a music project consisting of Marcello Tahitoe alias Ello,TEN Item (Andra and the Backbone, Deadsquad), Yuke Sampurna (Dewa 19), Eno Guitara (NTRL), Magi Trisnandi (/rif), and Reno Fahreza (Nevach), will tour by visiting ten cities in early 2025.

The tour with the title 'Loh Kok Tum Band Around Indonesia' is a continuation of the previous tour, where Ello cs visited five cities in Java and Bali.

During a press conference held in Sudirman, Central Jakarta on Friday, December 27, Yuke Sampurna also told how the personnel enjoyed their togetherness while on tour.

Although its personnel are big names in the Indonesian music industry, Loh Kok Tum Band did not ask the organizers to overdo it.

"It's very simple (the rider), on the backstage I need herbal medicine, herbal drinks that make us all happy," said Yuke, initiator of Loh Kok Tum Band.

The 56-year-old bassist said that his riders in Loh Kok Tum Band could not even get it during a gig with their original band, Dewa 19.

"In Dewa 19, there are no various riders, at most. In Loh, how come the Band Tum must be special, so the riders are herbal, healthy," he continued with a laugh.

Furthermore, Yuke also told how he received his welcome during the tour with Loh Kok Tum Band. Although they have not produced original works, their appearance has received a warm welcome in every city they visit.

He said the personnel appeared to be having fun on stage, different when appearing with their original band.

"We want to have fun on stage, from the habits of each band. We want to give a different taste to the audience," he said.

For information, the five points that Loh Kok Tum Band visited on its inaugural tour were Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Bali.

Furthermore, they will continue their journey to Medan, Pekanbaru, Padang, Palembang, Lampung, Solo, Semarang, Lombok, Banjarmasin and Balikpapan.
