Police Name 3 Suspects In The Case Of Dr Aulia Undip, Commission X Of The DPR Asks For PPDS For Other Campuses To Also Improve
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission X DPR RI, Then Hadrian Irfani responded to the determination of three suspects in the death of student student of the Specialist Doctors Education Program (PPDS) Anesthesi Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) Semarang, Dr Aulia Risma Lestari. Then asked other campuses to also improve on cases of bullying and extortion of students.
The man who is familiarly called Lalu Ari said that the bullying case of Dr Aulia must be a lesson for PPDS in other universities. Because the case really tarnished the good name of the campus, especially medical education.
"Universities that organize PPDS must make improvements. No more bullying, no more extortion, and no other deviant practices. Stop!," said Lalu Ari, Thursday, December 26.
The legislator for the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) II electoral district also appreciated the police's move which had named three suspects in the Dr Aulia case. Although the determination of the suspect was long enough since the death of Dr Aulia.
"We appreciate the hard work of the police in investigating and naming three suspects in the bullying case that caused the death of Dr Aulia," said Lalu Ari.
VOIR éGALEMENT:
The three suspects are the Head of the Anesthesiology Study Program (Prodi) of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Diponegoro University (Undip) Dr. Taufik Eko Nugroho, Chief of Medical Staff of the Undip Anastetion Study Program Sri Maryani, and senior Dr Aulia with the initials ZYA.
Then Ari also paid attention to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) study regarding the implementation of PPDS which revealed the depravity of the education program. For example, regarding the additional costs ranging from Rp. 1 million to Rp. 25 million which must be spent during PPDS. The fee is unofficial and cannot be accounted for accountability.
In addition to additional costs, there are also levies from PPDS participants that are used for various things. For example, the need for lecturers for touring motorbikes or bicycles.
The KPK findings reveal that PPDS participants usually work with their team-mates to meet the needs of their lecturers or seniors. This is clearly burdensome for PPDS participants.
Not only that, PPDS participants were also asked to show account balance during the interview stage in the PPDS selection process. Based on the KPK survey, 58 respondents admitted that they were asked to show their savings balance.
A total of 6 respondents showed savings balances with a nominal value of more than IDR 500 million, 4 respondents with a balance of IDR 250-500 million, 11 respondents with a balance of IDR 100-250 million, and 19 respondents with a balance of less than IDR 100 million.
The PKB politician emphasized that the results of the KPK study should be a lesson for campuses that organize PPDS programs. He considered that campuses must clean up deviant practices.
"Kampus yang memiliki PPDS harus berbenah. Jangan ada lagi dr Aulia, dr Aulia lain yang menjadi korban," tandas Lalu Ari
