Can Return From Hospital, Former US President Bill Clinton Can Celebrate Christmas At Home
JAKARTA - Former President of the United States (US) Bill Clinton, who had a fever accompanied by influenza or flu until he was hospitalized, was allowed to return home, Tuesday, December 24 local time.
Clinton is declared to be able to celebrate Christmas close to his family at home.
"President Clinton was discharged from the hospital today after being treated for the flu. He and his family are very grateful for the extraordinary treatment provided by the team at the MedStar HOSPITAL.
"He hopes that in the holiday season everyone is happy and healthy," he continued.
Clinton, 78, underwent treatment at the hospital due to fever and flu on Monday this week.
However, Urena did not elaborate further on how severe the fever and flu experienced by Clinton.
In 2021, Clinton was treated at a hospital in Southern California for infection. After six days of treatment, he was allowed to go home.
In February 2010, Clinton was also treated at the hospital after experiencing chest pain. He received a clogged heart arterial opening. Two stents were installed inside Clinton's arteries, which is a general medical procedure for people with severe heart disease.
The former governor of Arkansas was recorded to have undergonete bypass surgery four times in September 2004.
