In 2025, Tokopedia And ShopTokopedia Invite Seller To Optimize Live Features

JAKARTA - In 2025, Tokopedia, TikTok, and ShopTokopedia will focus on encouraging business actors (sellers) to adopt the technology on their platform, to expand customer reach.

Because according to E-commerce's Head of Communications of Tokopedia and TikTok, Aditia Grasio Nelwan, features like live streaming, short video content, as well as collaboration with affiliators, will help sellers increase their sales.

"We don't have specific targets (for 2025). We are pushing sellers to start using, utilizing features such as live or making short videos for content or also connecting with affiliators," Adit said on Monday, December 23.

Because according to him, the main challenge in 2024 and 2025 is to help sellers adapt to technological developments and changes in consumption patterns.

Therefore, Tokopedia and ShopTokopedia continue to be committed to providing education and empowering sellers to take advantage of media such as live streaming and short video content to improve their visibility.

"Maybe what we are after continues to be about how sellers can adapt to the development of new technology, so that they can gain more," he added.

Apart from selling, Adit also sees that the features mentioned above can benefit buyers. So that they can easily find suitable products faster.
