Christie Finds Music Character Suitable For Him In Single Obsession
Christie introduced a new single with the title Obsession, which is said to have brought confidence in the best musical character for him.
Meanwhile, the single Obsesi feels still in line with the previous two releases, namely Love Again and Love Me Back. The songs jni highlight Christie's side which is more fun, dynamic, and full of energy, where the music comes with an upbeat feel.
"And I think finally this year I as a musician, found my musical common thread, which is that I like upbeat songs, which can make people dance together," Christie said when met at SCBD, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 23.
In composing the song, Christie was assisted by Monica Karina as co-songwriter and Rayi Putra (RAN) as producers. The R&B music element is felt in the musical arrangement, coupled with a moderato tempo.
The shop is really short, and this is one of the fastest songs I've ever made. It's really fun because everyone adapts quickly," he said.
Although still carrying upbeat music, Christie said there are fundamental differences in terms of writing the lyrics of the song Obsession.

"And the difference (even the previous single) can be said that the theme is very out of the box, quite brave, because it tells the story of a cegil figure," he said.
Pegil sendiri adalah akronim dari kecelasan gila, yang merupakan term populer sebagai insinasi kepada perempuan yang terjelas oleh cinta.
According to him, 'trouble' can be seen from a more positive perspective. He said, many women who were given the title were self-confidence figures.
"Believe yourself, they are very confident. If you already know that she's a girl, it's okay, it's really stupid," he said.
Therefore, "Obsesi" is performed as an upbeat song, to show a fun 'cheating' side.
"So it's not because he's obsessed with boys, being a girl is weak, no, it's actually brought in an exciting way. Precisely because he's confident, he knows what he wants. So there's power behind it," concluded Christie.
