Initially Called Falling From The Stairs, Apparently A Widow In Lampung Was Killed Because She Was Pregnant

South Lampung Police arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a widow that occurred in Jatibaru Village, Tanjung Bintang District on Wednesday (18/12).

"Alhamdulillah, this case has been successfully uncovered and we have arrested the suspect in the perpetrator," said South Lampung Police Chief AKBP Yusriandi Yusrin as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, December 21.

The disclosure of the murder case began when his party received a report regarding a woman who died as a result of falling from the stairs of her house.

"The disclosure of the case started when we received a report at around 22.00 WIB that someone died as a result of falling from the stairs," he said.

However, when the police conducted an investigation at the scene, there were several irregularities in the incident.

"Feeling suspicious, the team came to the scene and found a clue in the form of bloodstains on the wall near the stairs," he said.

Based on these instructions, his party carried out further investigations. Finally, a bright spot for the incident was found to be a murder case and the police moved quickly to hunt down the perpetrators.

"It has only been about 22 hours since the incident, we have succeeded in uncovering the case and the perpetrator named Cahyopun has been arrested," he said.

According to the perpetrator's confession, according to the Police Chief, he had the heart to kill because the victim asked for responsibility for her pregnancy.

"The victim and the perpetrator had several intercourses, and shortly before being killed the victim sent a two-line test pack image showing that she was pregnant. The perpetrator hit the victim three times and died on the spot," said the Police Chief.
