Jayapura Health Office Ensures Open Health Services During The 2024 Christmas Holiday
PAPUA - Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Jayapura lewat Dinas Kesehatan memastikan libur Natal 2024 pelayanan kesehatan tetap buka.
Sekretaris Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kabupaten Jayapura Edward Sihotang mengatakan, libur Natal mulai pada 23 Desember-27 Desember 2024, namun pelayanan kesehatan tetap berjalan baik di puskesmas maupun RSUD Yowari.
“Kami sudah rapat koordinasi dan nanti pada saat Natal, teman Muslim yang akan bertugas di puskesmas maupun rumah sakit, sementara petugas yang Nasrani merayakan Natal,” katanya di Sentani, Jayapura, Jumat 20 Desember, disitat Antara.
Menurutnya, pembagian ini sudah biasa dilakukan setiap menghadapi perayaan hari-hari besar keagamaan. “Seperti halnya Lebaran (Idulfitri) teman-teman Muslim libur dan petugas Nasrani yang menjalankan tugas pelayanan,” ujarnya.
Dia menjelaskan selama libur masyarakat tetap memperoleh pelayanan kesehatan dasar serta layanan akan dilakukan selama 24 jam, selain itu ada rawat inap baik di puskesmas maupun di RSUD Yowari.
“Kami berharap kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan kesehatan dasar terpenuhi dengan kerja-kerja cerdas yang Dinas Kesehatan lakukan,” katanya.
Dia mengingatkan masyarakat tetap menjaga kesehatan dengan tidak makan berlebihan dan sembarangan, batasi makanan berlemak, gula, dan garam.
“Kami berharap libur Natal bisa dilalui dengan suka cita tanpa adanya penyakit luar biasa di Kabupaten Jayapura, dengan masyarakat harus mengatur pola makan dan rutin berolahraga,” tandasnya.

According to him, this distribution is usually done every time you face celebrations of religious holidays. "Like Eid al-Fitr (Idul Fitri), Muslim friends are on holiday and Christian officers are carrying out service duties," he said.
He explained that during public holidays, they still get basic health services and services will be carried out for 24 hours, besides that there are hospitalizations both at the puskesmas and at the Yowari Hospital.
"We hope that the public's need for basic health services is met with smart work that the Health Office does," he said.
He reminded the public to maintain health by not eating excessively and carelessly, limiting fatty foods, sugar and salt.
"We hope that the Christmas holiday can be passed with joy without extraordinary illness in Jayapura Regency, with the community having to regulate their diet and exercise regularly," he said.
