How To Formulate Learning Goals To Develop RPP, Teachers Must Understand
YOGYAKARTA - The purpose of learning is one of the important things in teaching and learning activities in schools and other educational institutions. The purpose of learning can be understood as a target or target that will be achieved by students after taking lessons. That is why a teacher needs to know how to formulate learning goals.
In every teaching and learning activity, a teacher or educator must determine the purpose of learning in every material taught. The purpose of learning must also be found in the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The purpose of learning is a direction aimed at the whole learning process.
With the purpose of learning, a teacher can find out whether students have mastered learning materials or not. So how to prepare the right learning goals so that the series of teaching and learning activities can run well and optimally?
The purpose of learning is used as a guide for teachers in teaching various concepts or materials in the subjects presented during teaching and learning activities. In formulating learning goals, teachers must adapt to Basic Competency (KD). The purpose of learning must be correctly, structured, and complete.
Later the purpose of this learning will be used as a guide for teachers to choose teaching materials, strategies, models, methods and learning media. There are 4 main elements that must be considered in formulating learning goals.
In the sense of language, the word "audience" refers to listeners. However, in this context, the audience also acts as a subject and object in the learning process. In teaching and learning activities, the audience in question is a student.
Therefore, in formulating learning goals, the existence of audiences is very important because students become centers of learning activities. The purpose of learning is achieved through students, so that attention to them as the main audience becomes crucial.
Behavior refers to actions or activities that occur in a process. In teaching and learning activities, this behavior describes the actions or activities taken by students during learning.
Every learning process definitely involves student behavior and is closely related to the achievement of learning goals. When formulating learning goals, student behavior is stated in the form of operational workwords (KKO), such as understanding, writing, reading, analyzing, implementing, and others.
However, in every learning goal, it is only allowed to use one operational word. This is so that students can focus on only one action, so that learning becomes more effective and optimal learning results can be achieved.
In the teaching and learning process, the condition refers to the situation of students in class, both before and after learning activities took place. This situation is an important aspect that needs to be considered so that learning goals can be achieved.
In formulating conditions, usually the questions used as guides are like, What activities do students need to do so that the expected results are achieved?'. In the formulation of learning goals, conditions are outlined in the form of passwords to describe these activities.
Degree means a measure or comparison. In learning, degreee refers to the comparison of students' conditions before and after the learning process.
This level of achievement varies depending on the subject matter taught by teachers, covering the extent to which students are able to understand and master the material, new insights gained, or changes in behavior that occur in students.
