Global Leaders, Artists, Spiritual Figures And State Officials Attend Tri Hita Karana At Kura Kura Beach Bali

The leading global leaders, spiritual figures, and well-known artists gathered on the holy beach of Kura Kura Bali to reflect and find modern solutions to address pressing global challenges in Tri Hita Karana's Universal Reflection Journey: United in Diversity for Peace, Prosperity, People's, Planets, and Partnerships (5P).

Pope Francis, Imam Besar Nasaruddin, Hollywood Award winner Michelle Yeoh, World Bank President Ajay Banga, Bridgewater founder Ray Dalio, spiritual leader total Chopra, philanthropist Susan Rockefeller, and the Indonesian government gather to participate in unique events celebrating unity, diversity, and sustainable development.

Ray Dalio, a global macro investor for more than 50 years joined the THK U movement.

"From Abu Dhabi to Bali, we unite in a common goal: to create a world where diversity is celebrated, and harmony wins. Let's respect Istiqlal's spirit and work together to build a better future for all," said Dalio, in a written statement received on Sunday, December 15.

When thousands of candles were lit, a stunning Bali Peace Dance ceremony was held, featuring a 17x35 meter cloth decorated with SDG 16 painting of Tough Peace, Justice and Institution.

This global movement, inspired by the Declaration of Istiqlal and the spirit of friendship maintained by Pope Francis and Grand Imam Nasaruddin, aims to strengthen commitments to peace and harmony.

This event will feature an exciting performance from the song "Lilin Candles Little" (Lilin Kecil), accompanied by a global national anthem composed from musical instruments from around the world. Contemporary artists from the G20 and H20 will showcase their work through the art dome of a rotating constellation that shines in the Kura Kura area of Bali, Serangan Island, Bali.

This meeting serves as a powerful platform to discuss and address critical issues such as climate change, social inequality, and global peace. By combining ancient wisdom with modern innovation, participants hope to be able to inspire global movement towards a more sustainable and fair future.

"We all witness the power of light from small candles that are able to unite the world," said Tantowi Yahya, President of the Damai Indonesia Effort Foundation or known as the United In Diversity Foundation.

"Tri Hita Karana Universal Reflection Journey (THK U) is not just an event but a movement that invites us to build a more sustainable future, based on the principles of harmony between humans, nature and spirituality."

The small strings that are turned on will be a sign of a shared commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and support the G20 Bali Global Blended Finance Alliance (GBFA) initiative. Measuring the principles of harmony with humans, nature and the Almighty, THK U offers space for everyone to celebrate humanity and build a better future.

In this event, participants were invited to transform from egocentric thought into economical solutions, build networks with leaders from various sectors, and trigger spiritual, collaborative, and intellectual potential.

As Tantowi said in his press conference, "THK U is a beacon of hope in the dark, inspiring us to create a better future for future generations." Let's make this moment a starting point for bigger change. Together we can create a fairer, more harmonious, and sustainable world.

Constellation: Global Reflection. H2O Edition

"Constellation: Global Reflection, H2O Edition" takes us on a deep journey into interconnection between humans and nature. In the context of Tri Hita Karana, where harmony with nature is key to a sustainable life, this exhibition highlights the impact of climate change. Led by well-known artist Lance M. Fung, this annual exhibition brings together twelve new artists representing various archipelagic countries around the world. Through mind-inspiring installations and paintings, these artists voice their concern about the impact of the water crisis on society and ecosystems.

Twelve new artists were chosen to create new works of art that will become a global platform to explore inclusive and innovative solutions to water-related critical issues, especially in accelerating the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The themes range from access to water, water quality, sea level rise, and many other pressing situations. This diverse and passionate group of artists for this second edition includes Mariam Alnoami (Bahrain), Ragnar Axelsson (Island), Carlos Esteves (KUBa), David Gumbs (Martinique), Katie Holton (Ireland), Sid Natividad (Philippine), Donna Ong (Singapore), Gayan Prageeth (Sri Lanka), Alexis Rockman (USA), Abigail Romanchak (Hawaii), Citra Sasmita (Bali), and Michael Tuffery (New Zealand).

Indonesia's Heart Polyhedra: Unite The World Through Art And Action

The "Indonesian Polyhedra Heart" installation is a tangible manifestation of the spirit of unity and diversity that is the heart of THK U. In collaboration with the Scholas Occurrentes Foundation, this interconnected geometric installation invites us to see ourselves as part of a larger whole. Its creation process involves the active participation of the community, with people who contribute ideas, time, and material. Thus, Polyhedra's "Indonesian Heart" is not only a work of art but also a symbol of the spirit of cooperation and environmental concern.
