BCA Wins Two OPEXCON Awards 2024 Thanks To Innovation And AI Technology
JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has won 2 prestigious awards at the Indonesia Operational Excellence (OPEXCON) Award 2024, through digital transformation and technological innovation used.
In this event, BCA won the Gold Achievement category Service for its Debit and Credit Card Waste Management innovation with the concept of Celsius, as well as the Silver Achievement category Service for the Program Final Evaluation Automation Project with ARVI (Artificial Intelligence and Transportation Tool).
This achievement not only strengthens BCA's position as a leading bank in Indonesia, but also emphasizes its focus on technology development based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and environmental sustainability.
"Through card waste processing innovation and AI-based technology utilization, we continue to be committed to providing the best solution for customers and the wider community," said SVP Operation Strategy and Development BCA Setiady in a written statement on Saturday, December 14.
Through innovation with the Celsius Concept, it allows the company to convert plastic waste from debit cards and credit expires or is swallowed in ATM machines, into a mixture material for making Ampar or paving blocks.
Meanwhile, the innovation of program final evaluation automation with ARVI (Artificial Intelligence andTICation Tool) makes it easier for the company to analyze a company's training program quickly and efficiently.

Previously, GestureCam, by the Operational & System Support BCA team, also won 1st place in the AI Driven Bot Competition 2024. This AI-based technology uses face and gesture recognition to detect sign language through camera, making it easier for people with disabilities to interact with robots.
