Six RTs In North Jakarta Submerged By Rob Floods Of Up To 60 Centimeters
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded that as many as six RTs in the North Jakarta area were affected by tidal flooding that occurred on Saturday, December 14. This tidal flood occurred due to the phenomenon of maximum tides in conjunction with the new moon phase which has the potential to increase the maximum sea level in the form of coastal flooding (rob) in the northern coastal area of Jakarta.

He explained that three RTs in Marunda Village, Cilincing, were flooded as high as 10 to 20 centimeters. Then three RTs in Pluit Village, Penjaringan, were flooded with a height of 15 centimeters to 60 centimeters.
In addition, the Hiu Street of Muara Baru Port, Penjaringan Village, is also inundated with a height of 10 centimeters. Isnawa said the BMKG had issued an early warning of coastal flooding or tidal flooding on December 11, December-20 December 2024.
BPBD DKI Jakarta mobilizes personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate elements of the Natural Resources Service, Highways Office, Gulkarmat Service to carry out inundation suction and ensure that the water lines function properly together with the local village heads and sub-district heads.
