Bodies Of South Korean Tourists Who Died Hit By Falling Trees In Monkey Forest Bali Cremated

DENPASAR - The body of a female South Korean citizen Hyoeun Kim (42) who died as a result of a fallen tree in Monkey Forest was cremated at the Kerta Semadi Crematorium in Mumbul, Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, Bali.

The families of victims of Hyoeun Kim arrived in Bali and met with the Gianyar Regency Tourism Office and the management of Monkey Forest Ubud at the Bali Tourism Office office.

"Follow up from our meeting with the families of South Korean victims. First, the victim asked for cremation this afternoon. Then after the cremation they will return to South Korea with their ashes. We have facilitated it," said Head of the Gianyar Tourism Office I Wayan Gede Sedana Putra, Friday, December 13.

Regarding insurance and so on, what is needed by the family has been agreed upon.

"Hopefully it goes smoothly. That's the main thing we have to do. Regarding insurance, allowances, and so on, we have agreed and we will run it later after this process is complete," he said.
