Dozens Of Bawaslu Commissioners In South Sulawesi Complained To DKPP

Dozens of commissioners of the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) in South Sulawesi were reported to the Election Organizers Honorary Council (DKPP).

They were reported for a number of alleged violations reported by the legal team of the regional head candidate pair.

The dkpp.go.id/complaint/recorded that 17 commissioners in South Sulawesi were reported.

"We assess that the Gowa Bawaslu failed to take preventive measures and seemed to be passive in supervising violations that had been reported related to the neutrality of ASN in the simultaneous Pilkada," said the legal team for the candidate pair for Regent and Deputy Regent of Gowa Amir Uskara Irmawati Haeruddin (Aurama) Ridwan Basri as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 11.

His party complained about five commissioners of the Gowa Regency Bawaslu to the DKPP regarding the results of the supervision and handling of a number of cases of alleged massive violations by his rival Husniah Talenrang-Darmamawansyah Muin (Hati Damai).

The complainant is Andi Ilal Tasma.

Furthermore, three Commissioners of the Takalar Regency Bawaslu, namely Nellyati, Zahlul Fadil and Ince Haey Rachmad, with complaint receipt numbers 642/01-21/SET-02/XI/2024. The complainant is Mirwan.

Next, two Commissioners of Bawaslu Palopo City, namely Kherana and Widianto Hendra, were reported to the DKPP as reported by the complainant Angga with the receipt number 608/02-07/SET-02/XI/2024 and the complainant Dahyar with the receipt number 559/01-18/SET-02/X/2024.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Sulawesi Province Bawaslu Mardiana Rusli and members of the Tana Toraja Regency, Theofilus Lias Limangan, were also reported to the DKPP by complainant Ruben Embadau with the receipt number 616/03-11/SET-02/XI/2024.

Teradu Commissioner of Bawaslu Gowa Juanto stated that he respects all the efforts made by the candidate pair during the simultaneous Pilkada stage. His party is even ready with all the possible dynamics that occur and has prepared everything related to the complaint.

Separately, the Pemadu Bawaslu of Palopo City, Dahyar stated that he had complained to the DKPP after the candidate for Mayor of Palopo Trisl Thir was declared to have met the requirements (MS) by the Palopo KPU, even though on October 23, 2024 and the results of the administrative verification of the person concerned were declared not to have met the requirements (BMS) regarding his diploma. problematic.

"We have reported the reason (the complainant) is considered not to carry out professional supervision and is not active in determining the person concerned as a candidate for mayor by the Palopo KPU regarding the truth of the C package diploma," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Bawaslu Palopo Khaerana expressed his respect for the efforts of the legal team to test their performance at the DKPP ethics judiciary. In addition, he has prepared the material for the answer if the trial continues.
