National Police Chief Reports Prabowo About Drug Eradication: 10 Million Lifes Saved
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reported the results of drug eradication carried out by the police together with the relevant ministries of institutions. From a series of actions carried out, it is said that 10 million people can be saved.
"(Confiscating) Evidence worth IDR 2.88 trillion that can save more than 10 million lives from drug abuse," said Sigit when giving a speech at the 2024 Police Chief of Police's Appeal at Semarang Police Academy, Central Java, Wednesday, December 11.
In addition, from the prosecution carried out by the Dec. Drug Eradication as many as 3,608 cases, 3,965 people could be revealed and identified as suspects.
However, the National Police and the relevant ministries of institutions will continue to make efforts to eradicate drugs. Thus, Prabowo Subianto's goal program will be achieved.

Apart from drug eradication, Sigit also reported the security activities for the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year celebrations. The National Police in collaboration with relevant stakeholders is said to have prepared steps to ensure public security.
"The National Police together with relevant stakeholders are preparing a plan to secure the 2024 Christmas celebrations and the 2025 new year to ensure security and comfort in the implementation of worship and community mobility at the end of the year," said Sigit.
