Redmi Turbo 4 Ready To Launch This December, Debut With Dimensity 8800 Chipset!

JAKARTA - Redmi made another breakthrough after releasing Redmi K80 and K80 Pro last month in China. Now, rumors about a new device with a Turbo branding are getting closer to reality. Wang Teng Thomas, General Manager of Redmi, recently hinted at a short video platform that the new device will launch this month with the code name "Little Tornado." Many believe that the device in question is Redmi Turbo 4.

Redmi Turbo 4 is said to be the world's first smartphone powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8800 chipset. The chipset is manufactured using the 4nm TSMC process and carries the Cortex-A725 core architecture at CPU speeds of more than 3GHz. For the graphics sector, Dimensity 8400 is equipped with the Immmoral-G925 MC12 GPU, which is also used at Dimensity 9400.

This chipset performance is impressive, noting AnTuTu scores more than 1.7 million points, even surpassing Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. With this figure, Redmi Turbo 4 is predicted to be one of the most powerful devices in its segment.

Redmi Turbo 4 will reportedly come with a 1.5K resolution flat OLED screen offering sharp visual quality. Based on 3C certification, the device will support 90W fast charging, providing an efficient charging experience.

In terms of price, it is estimated that Redmi Turbo 4 will be sold in the range of 1,500 Yuan (~Rp3.3 million) to 2,000 Yuan (~Rp4.4 million), making it an attractive choice in the premium middle class.

For the global market, these two devices are predicted to be released under different names, namely Poco X7 for Turbo 4 and Poco F7 for Turbo 4 Pro, continuing Redmi's tradition of providing new branding for the international market.

With high performance, quality screens, and competitive prices, Redmi Turbo 4 has the potential to become a new prima donna in its class. Let's wait for official confirmation from Redmi about this launch.
