Megawati Makes History In The Korean Volleyball League With A Score Of 1,000 Points
JAKARTA The Indonesian women's volleyball player, Megawati Hanggestri Pertiwi, has made a new history in the South Korean Volleyball League. The mainstay of Redmen has reached a total of 1,000 points in his career in the league, an extraordinary achievement.
Megawati achieved this record while helping Redmen beat Hi Pass 3-1 in the inaugural match of the third round of this season. The match, which was held at the Gimcheon Gymnasium, ended with a score of 25-22, 25-27, 25-19, 25-20 for the victory of Redmen.
Megatron, Megawati's nickname, became one of the stars of the match with a contribution of 25 points. He listed himself as the third most points scorer in the match, under his teammates, Vanja Bukilic (35 points), and Hi Pass player, Merelin Nikolova (28 points).
The 25-point score in the match completed a total of 1.076 Megawati points during her career in the Korean Volleyball League, as revealed through the official social media account Redmen. With this achievement, Megawati became the 70th player to score 1.000 points in the women's division of the Korean Volleyball.
Even more special, Megawati was able to achieve this record in less than two seasons, a rare achievement in this competitive league.
