Luxury Edition Memoar Dave Grohl Reveals His First Meeting With Paul McCartney
JAKARTA - Dave Grohl released a luxurious edition of his memoir with an additional story, The Storyteller: Tales In Life & Music.
First released in 2021, the original version of this book tells the life and career of the Foo Fighters frontman's music, from his origins in the suburbs of Washington, DC to his experience of touring since he was 18 years old.
Now, The Storyteller's expanded version, circulating October 31 includes a variety of additional content and has never been seen before.
The luxury paperback edition of The Storyteller includes the first person's essay on Grohl's philosophy of creativity, and a series of writing clues aimed at fueling readers' creative efforts.
This updated memoir also provides insight into the origin and writing of the songs behind the four Foo Fighters songs, and how Grohl's relationship with these songs develops over time.
Elsewhere, this new edition features a special playlist that Grohl listens to while cooking or driving, and tells the musician's first meeting with Paul McCartney which was previously an exclusive audiobook.
This insight adds to the long list of experiences detailed in the original version of The Storyteller, which describes clashes with people like Elton John, Pantera, Josh Homme, and many others.
