Following 7 Others, Former Head Of Mineral And Coal ESDM NTB Becomes Suspects Of AMG Mining Corruption

The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Special Crime Investigators have named the eight suspects in the alleged corruption case of the PT Anugrah Mitra Graha (AMG) iron sand mine.Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, revealed that the eighth suspect is the former Head of Mineral and Coal Affairs of the NTB Energy and Mineral Resources Service (ESDM) with the initials TSM alias Trisman."Yes, the eighth suspect is a former head of the NTB ESDM Service. The initials are TSM (Trisman)," he said in Mataram, Antara, Monday, October 30.Regarding TSM's involvement, Efrien admitted that he had not received complete information from investigators and only confirmed that TSM's role in this case had been revealed from the results of the case title."Essentially, there are indications of unlawful acts when the person concerned serves as head of the field," he said.Investigators named TSM as a suspect by applying Article 5 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 11 in conjunction with Article 12 letter a in conjunction with Article 12 letter b of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001.By naming TSM as the eighth suspect, the prosecutor's investigators immediately made arrests."We have entrusted the suspect to the Class II A prison in West Lombok starting today," said Efrien.The detention of TSM took place after giving information to investigators at the NTB Prosecutor's Office on Monday at around 12.30 WITA.To reporters, TSM refused to provide information regarding his determination as a suspect. He only stated that he was cooperative in this case."We just follow the legal process," said TSM briefly.In this case, TSM testified in the trial of the defendant in the corruption of the PT AMG iron sand mine with the defendants Zainal Abidin and Syamsul Makrif at the Corruption Court at the Mataram District Court, Tuesday (24/10).In his testimony, TSM admitted that he had received Rp20 million from the Head of the Branch of PT AMG East Lombok Rinus Adam Wakum.Trisman also explained that he received Rp20 million from Rinus, who is also a defendant in this case in two stages.First, after Rinus met with the defendant Zainal Abidin on April 27, 2022. Rinus received a mandate from Zainal Abidin to ask Trisman to make a certificate to the Director General of Mineral and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia.The letter stated that the PT AMG activity plan document (RKAB) was in the evaluation process at the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.The letter then smoothed PT AMG's activities for the delivery of mining products outside the region.Trisman, who testified under the oath, admitted that he received Rp. 15 million in the envelope. Rinus handed over the envelope on the Trisman desk during the process of making a certificate.After the letter was signed by Zainal Abidin, who served as Head of the NTB ESDM Service for the period 2022 to 2023 and has been registered with the NTB ESDM Service, Trisman submitted the letter to Rinus.When submitting the letter on April 27, 2022 at the Lombok Plaza Hotel, TSM again received Rp5 million.
