As Head Of The Prabowo-Gibran Campaign Team, Rosan Roeslani Resigns From The Deputy Minister Of BUMN

" Rosan Roeslani has officially submitted his resignation from the position of Deputy Minister of SOEs," said AAGN Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana.

Ari Dwipayana said Rosan submitted his resignation on Tuesday (24/10), and President Jokowi has issued a Presidential Decree (Keppres) on Wednesday dated October 25, 2023, which approved Roslan's resignation.

"The president has granted the resignation of the Deputy Minister of BUMN, Rosan P. Roeslani. The Deputy Minister of BUMN has been officially dismissed with respect through the Presidential Decree dated October 25, 2023. Previously, Rosan had submitted a request for resignation as Deputy Minister of BUMN as of October 24, 2023," said Ari Dwipayana, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 25.

Rosan Roeslani was chosen as Chairman of the National Campaign Team for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) which carries presidential and prospective vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

This was known from Prabowo's speech at his declaration ceremony and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the future presidential and vice presidential candidate pair for the 2024 presidential election. On that occasion, Prabowo greeted Rosan as Chairman of the KIM National Campaign Team, a coalition of political parties consisting of the Gerindra Party, Golkar, Democrats, Gelora, PAN, PBB, Garuda, and Prima.

"What I respect is Mr. Rosan Roeslani, the Head of the National Campaign Team for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition," said Prabowo.

Prior to his resignation, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani was the Deputy Minister of BUMN who was inaugurated by President Jokowi to replace Pahala Mansury who was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (Wamenlu) on July 17, 2023. Rosan is also a former Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, and has been the General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
