Prabowo Supporting Projo Is Said To Betray The Agreement As PDIP Affiliate
JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of Projo Ganjar, Haposan Situmorang, said that the volunteer organization he led never betrayed because he did not participate in declaring support for Prabowo Subianto.
"So Budi Arie (Ketum DPP Projo) who betrayed the face-to-face (Projo's agreement as a PDIP affiliate), must be remembered. I have that evidence," said Haposan Situmorang after attending the declaration of Ganjar Pranowo's support in Jakarta, Sunday.
Haposan said that Projo or Pro Jokowi volunteers were founded by PDIP people to support and win the presidential candidate promoted by the party in the presidential election contestation (Pilpres).
"This projo was founded by PDIP people and there is their face-to-face, that Projo is an affiliate of the PDIP team," he said, quoted by Antara.
Haposan also emphasized that Projo Ganjar was not a stealth volunteer, such as information circulating on social media and news in a number of mass media.
According to him, Projo Ganjar has been officially and declared legal as a supporting volunteer for the presidential reading of Ganjar Pranowo since September 13, 2023. A letter of support has also been sent to the Aspirational House and the PDI-P's Presidential Election Winning Volunteer Coordination Team (TKRPP).
Projo Ganjar, said Haposan, collaborated with tens of millions of volunteers from all over Indonesia, and there were already 150 new Branch Leadership Councils (DPC) who joined to win Ganjar.
"Now it's only been a month since we have had 150 new DPCs (joining Projo Ganjar)," he explained.
Furthermore, Haposan explained that Projo Ganjar had also sent a letter to President Joko Widodo to coordinate and attendence, considering that Projo could not be separated from the volunteers who were previously present because of Jokowi.
"We have sent a letter requesting an audience to Pak Jokowi two days ago, there has been no answer. Pak Jokowi may still see the schedule for when to receive a meeting with Projo Ganjar," he concluded.
