Pretending To Be A Police Officer, A Man In Pekanbaru Brushes A Woman Then Spreads Immoral Videos

Kendari Police, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) arrested a fake police officer named Erik Irawan (31) in Pekanbaru City, Riau, for committing a crime of ITE (information technology and electronic transactions).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kendari Police, AKP Fitrayadi, said the perpetrator committed an ITE crime by distributing immoral videos with a woman with the initials SJ (42), who is a resident of Kendari City.

The arrests were made by the police on Jalan Naga Sakti, Tampan Village, Simpang Baru District, Pekanbaru City, Riau.

"The Buser 77 team assisted by the Pekanbaru Police found the suspect and made arrests in Pekanbaru, Riau," said Fitrayadi.

The fake police case began when victim SJ became acquainted with the perpetrator. The perpetrator claimed to be a Police officer in 2020 and promised to marry the victim.

"Then the suspect asked SJ to send a photo of SJ who was not dressed," he said.

Then in July 2020, continued Fitrayadi, the fake policeman came to Kendari City to meet the victim and promised to take care of the wedding trial with SJ.

After that, the two of them went straight to a hotel in Kendari City. There the two had sex.

"But, without SJ's knowledge, the perpetrator did the recording that had been prepared previously," he explained.

After some time, the fake policeman immediately spread the video to social media. The victim objected so he reported it at the Kendari Police.

"The suspect's motive was hurt by SJ because the suspect's cell phone number was blocked by SJ," he continued.
