28 Companies are Queuing for IPO, IDX Says Majority Are Medium-Scale Assets
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) noted that 28 companies were in the pipeline (queue) for an IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as of September 22, 2023. The majority of those in line are medium-scale assets companies.
IDX Company Valuation Director I Gede Nyoman Yetna said that the majority or 18 companies in the IPO queue had medium scale assets or around IDR 50 billion to IDR 250 billion.
Then, there are eight companies with large-scale assets or above IDR 250 billion, and two companies with small-scale assets or under IDR 50 billion.
"As of September 22, 2023, 66 companies have listed shares on the IDX, with funds raised of IDR 49.4 trillion," said Nyoman, quoting Antara.
Referring to the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 53/POJK.04/2017, the companies in the IPO queue are based on sector, as many as five companies from the primary consumer goods sector, as many as four companies from the raw goods sector, as many as four companies from the energy sector, and as many as four companies from the technology sector.
Then, as many as three companies from the non-primary consumer goods sector, as many as three companies from the infrastructure sector, as many as two companies from the industrial sector, as many as one company from the health sector, as many as one company from the property sector, and one company from the transportation & logistics sector.

Meanwhile, for bonds, there are 18 emissions from 13 issuers of Debt Securities and Sukuk (EBUS) which are in the pipeline until September 22 2023.
"To date, 77 emissions have been issued from 51 EBUS issuers with funds raised amounting to IDR 87.0 trillion," said Nyoman.
For corporate actions in the form of rights issues, the IDX noted that there are still 24 companies in the rights issue pipeline (queue) until the period 22 September 2023.
"To date, there have been 26 listed companies that have issued rights issues with a total value of IDR 37.3 trillion," said Nyoman.
