The Latest Variant Of Chery Omoda 5 To Be Launched Can Compete With This Car
Chery will introduce the highest variant of the Omoda 5 family in the near future following type Z, RZ, and EV in the Indonesian market.
Recently, this Chinese manufacturer has hinted at the specifications and reliability offered in this SUV. This latest variant will provide high-power performance with more responsive acceleration.
The manufacturer says the latest Omoda 5 is equipped with a 1,600 cc Turbo engine with a Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) transmission which is optimized with an all-wheel drive system (AWD). This means that this car will compete with SUVs such as the Honda HRV 1.5L Turbo Hospital.
Based on VOI's monitoring, Thursday, September 21, the Honda HRV 1.5L Turbo Hospital became the first RS type SUV in Indonesia as well as the first HR-V equipped by a turbo engine. Unlike other variants that use naturally assisted (NA) machines.
Different from the type below, the HR-V Turbo RS has a sporty design with a different grip shape and is connected to the LED headlights and equipped with an LED Fog Light.

The sporty display in the highest variant is followed by high performance in class. The SUV carries a 1.5L VTEC Turbo engine which produces up to 174 dk of power and 240 Nm of torque. Users of this car will also be offered with three driving modes, namely Sport, Normal, and Eco.

Honda HR-V 1.5L Turbo Hospital has a higher price than other variants with a difference of more than IDR 100 million. The SUV is priced at IDR 529.9 million today.
Returning to Omoda 5, this latest variant has not been disclosed further details of the specifications. However, the car is estimated to have a price of around Rp480 million, cheaper than its rival.
