ASDP Serves 23.1 Million Passengers And 4.38 Million Vehicles In Semester I-2023
JAKARTA - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) shows a positive performance. This is reflected in the results of this state-owned company serving 23.1 million passengers, and 4.38 million vehicles throughout Indonesia in the first semester of 2023.
ASDP President Director Ira Puspadewi said management is optimistic that the crossing business will grow well until the end of this year.
Therefore, continued Ira, ASDP consistently continues to provide excellent service, especially for the logistics sector which supports the company's performance.
"The business rate is going well, where Semester I-2023 recorded good performance, the total number of passengers served at the Port was 23.1 million passengers, and 4.8 million vehicles and 867,856 tons of goods," he said in Jakarta, Sunday, September 17.
Furthermore, Ira said that the total production of vehicles in the first semester of 2023 was recorded to have increased by 6 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
From this production figure in the period January to June 2023, ASDP managed to record consolidated revenues of IDR 2.36 trillion.
"Increased 16 percent when compared to the same period the previous year, and recorded a profit of Rp311 billion," he said.
As for port production in 2023, ASDP targets 51 million passengers, 6.5 million units of 2 and 3 wheeled vehicles, 6.6 million units of 4-wheeled vehicles, and 1.9 million tons of total goods transported.
"And for 2023, ASDP is targeting a total revenue of IDR 5.6 trillion with a net profit of around IDR 700 billion," he said.
Ira said, management continues to strive to maintain post-COVID-19 business stability by efficiency and prioritizing programs that bring in profit. From internal, namely improving operations and improving the business process which is more effective and efficient.
It was revealed that the digitization of services carried out by ASDP was able to increase the production of service users. According to him, there are 3 management achievements that ASDP has gone through in the past 4 years.
