Disturbing! ASN Teacher Suspected Of Obscene 8 Elementary School Students Digelandang To Bogor City Police Headquarters
The police arrested a state civil servant (ASN) with the initials BBS, suspected of molesting eight elementary school (SD) students in Bogor City. BBS allegedly committed his obscene acts over the past year.
"The perpetrator is a teacher, he is a homeroom teacher, only appointed as ASN this year. But the case has occurred from the end of 2022 to May 2023," said Head of the Bogor City Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Rizka Fhadila at the Bogor City Police Headquarters, Tuesday, September 12.
Rizka explained that the arrest of BBS was based on four reports from the parents of elementary school students at the BBS teaching place. The reporting of BBS has also been done by parents first to the school.
It is not enough to only report the child's obscene perpetrators to the school, said Rizka, four parents of eight students who were victims of BBS also reported it to the Bogor City Police.
Rizka conveyed that BBS was arrested after a few days from reporting. BBS was secured by officers while traveling in the Bogor City area on Monday 11 September at 21.00 WIB.
From the results of the examination of the evidence, the testimony of witnesses at the school, the victim's parents, the victim and the confession of the perpetrator, he said, the suitability of the statement showed that the act had actually occurred, so that BBS had been named a suspect.

According to Rizka, BBS admitted his obscene act by touching the victim's body with an age range of 10-11 years in grade 5 to grade 6. The obscene treatment occurred repeatedly to several victims.
He launched his obscenity action with the mode of learning and teaching activities going on as well as during extra-curricular activities. BBS did not commit obscenity by coercion but with an approach to students he taught.
BBS himself is 30 years old and has the status of having a wife and one child. To the police when presented, he admitted that he had made a mistake in his actions.
However, the obscene perpetrator is still charged with Article 76E of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2022 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Article 82 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2022 concerning Child Protection into the Criminal Law, with a minimum imprisonment of five years and a maximum of 15 years and a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.
"The perpetrator has become a suspect and is processed according to the applicable law," he said, confiscated by Antara.
Kompol Rizka appealed to the public, especially parents, to actively ask their children what happened at school and not hesitate to report to the police if there were allegations of sexual harassment.
