Cak Imin Asks The KPK To Immediately Resolve The Corruption Case For The Procurement Of The TKI Protection System
JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin hopes that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will soon resolve the corruption case in the procurement of the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
He conveyed this after undergoing examination at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 7. Cak Imin was examined by investigators as a witness from 09.50 WIB to 15.00 WIB or about five hours.
"Hopefully with this explanation, the KPK will run smoothly and quickly, to finish over all corruption cases," said Cak Imin to reporters.
Cak Imin admitted that he had explained all his knowledge regarding the procurement of the TKI protection system in front of investigators. However, he did not want to go into details and preferred to let the anti-corruption commission explain.
"Everything I've heard and God willing, everything I remember, all I know I've explained," he said.
"I would like to thank the KPK for continuing to take steps to resolve all corruption cases and we all support it," continued Cak Imin.

Previously, the KPK had announced that three suspects were named in the case of procuring the protection system. Although it has not been announced, the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta is reportedly involved.
The value of the information system procurement project that is suspected to be the result of the perpetrators reached around Rp. 20 billion. Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata said that this system was allegedly corrupted until it could not be used to monitor migrant workers.
"Those who can only use computers to type and so on. However, the system itself is not running," Alexander told reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, August 24.
