6,182 Police Secure ASEAN 43rd Summit In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The National Police will hold Operation Tri Brata Jaya in the context of securing the 43rd ASEAN Summit. Around 6,182 Bhayangkara Corps personnel will be involved.

"The involvement of 6182 Polri personnel," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, when confirmed, Friday, September 1.

Thousands of personnel involved came from units at the Police Headquarters level to the regional police ranks.

The details are the National Police Headquarters 1624 personnel, Polda Metro Jaya 3918 personnel, Polda West Java 320 personnel, and Polda Banten 320 personnel.

Then, Operation Tri Brata Jaya will take place on September 1-8, 2023. Later, TNI personnel and other stakeholders will also be involved.

Later, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono will inaugurate the implementation of Operation Tri Brata Jaya on September 1, 2023.

"His involvement also involves TNI personnel as well," said Ramadhan.

The activity of the 43rd Asean Summit in 2023 will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, where the peak of the Summit event will be held from 5 to 7 September 2023.
