Speeding Development Targets, Waskita Beton Precast Continues To Supply Products To IKN Nusantara
JAKARTA - The completion of the progress of the Nusantara State Capital (IKN) project continues to be pursued. PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) also continues to supply its products to IKN Nusantara.
Moreover, with the plan to hold the August 17, 2024 Anniversary ceremony, it will be held in the new capital city located in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan.
"We provide great support for this mega project so that it can be completed according to the target. Of course, with quality resources that WSBP has," said Fandy Dewanto, Vice President of Corporate Secretary, Friday, August 18.
Furthermore, Fandy said WSBP had started its initial product supply for the project since the end of January 2023 with a contract value of IDR 230 billion.
In this project, WSBP supplies readymix products (Mutu Fc 10-Fc 50 and Fs 45) for the Presidential Secretariat Building Development project and Supporting Buildings for the Indonesian Presidential Palace Area, Construction of Work Roads/Logistics IKN (KIPP) for the Sepaku Segment 4 Ring Road Development Package, and the Simpang Tempadung- Balang Island Section 5A Toll Road Project.
To support the completion acceleration target, said Fandy, WSBP deployed quality readymix production from 2 Sepaku Battery Plant (BP) with a total production volume of 8,414 m3.
In addition to BP Sepaku, WSBP also has BP Tempadung which supplies readymix Fc 10, Fc 15, Fc 30 and Fc 50 fc 20, Fc 35 with a capacity of 90 m3/hour and volume 53,371 m3 for the Simpang Tempadung- Balang Island Section 5A Toll Project.
Until now, the progress of the construction of the Presidential Secretariat and Supporting Building for the Presidential Palace area of the Republic of Indonesia is 34.58 percent and the construction of the IKN Work Road/Logistics IKN (KIPP) for the Sepaku Segmen 4 Ring Road Development Package is 79.10 percent, and the Simpang Tempadung- Balang Island toll road project Section 5A is 18.96 percent.
Poerbayu added that currently the progress of IKN development continues to run according to the target of building construction for ministries and toll roads to supporting facilities such as waterways and culverts, IPAL, and others.
WSBP has also coordinated to support the completion of the project both with the Ministry of PUPR, the provincial government, the police, and the IKN authority.

"We are collaborating with BUMN Karya for all projects in the IKN area," said Fandy.
"Not only that, we are currently reviewing the opportunity to establish temporary plants and have collaborated with local suppliers in Palu to ensure the supply of raw materials for the IKN project," he added.
Fandy said, this strategy was carried out as an effort to support the completion of IKN and increase the use of domestic content for this project.
As for the work process carried out, WSBP is committed to implementing good corporate governance, appropriate QHSE procedures, and taking into account social and environmental conditions around the company's operational areas.
