Four Australian Citizens Found Safe In Aceh Singkil, One Indonesian Citizen Still Missing

BANDA ACEH - The Nias SAR team and the joint team managed to find four foreign nationals (WNA) from Australia, and two Indonesian citizens (WNI) after previously losing contact in the waters of the Many Islands, Aceh Singkil Regency.

"The six victims who have been found safe," said Head of Basarnas Nias, North Sumatra, Octavianto as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 15.

The survivors were four foreigners from Australia, namely Elliot Foote,ten Weisse, Will Teagle and Jordan Short, respectively.

Then two Indonesian citizens were found safe, namely Ahmad Junardi and Muhammad Iqbal.

"Meanwhile, another victim, namely Fifan Satria, Indonesian citizens, is still being searched," added Octavianto.

According to him, the six victims who lost contact were evacuated to Pinang Resort Islands Banyak, Aceh Singkil Regency.

Three Australian citizens were previously found on board a surfboard, and one Indonesian citizen was found around Tuangku Island, Banyak Islands, Aceh Singkil Regency.

Then the team also found one Indonesian citizen around Tuangku Island, Aceh Singkil safe.

The joint team is still trying to search for another victim around the scene to find an Indonesian citizen, namely Fifan Satria.
